Hero of Time

After witnessing the movie trailer for the Legend of Zelda, I was inspired to do a quick piece as a tribute to it.

I haven't truly worked in Sketcher in ages. And I heard that there is a new room. So this time around this piece was completed in Sketcher.

The past week two of my pieces have been erased when I was in the progress of completing them in Sketcher. ;_;

Fortunately, I've just finished a new one and even saved it before deletion. So all is not lost.

In the attempts of following Muniz's footsteps in coloring, I've completely immersed myself in his approach by initially blocking in values and gradually building up the piece. Normally I'd sketch, refine, clean, and then paint.

I am attempting to atone for my sins of abusing the smudge tool. From this point forward, I won't be primarily using the tool to color in Sketcher.
