My entry (the first image) was rejected. Recalling back, I've learned much -- one specifically being my need for better managing my own time. Spending two days to paint wasn't enough to properly complete my entry. If I had to apply an arbitrary number, I'd say my entry was at 80% complete.

The two pieces below were a batch of concepts that I had time paint, but I wasn't satisfied with the direction so I left it as is. If I can find my other concepts (mainly just sketches), I'll post them up as well.

Congratulations to all of the selected entries and great work throughout this contest! Additionally, congratulations to Capcom's 15th Anniversary to a wonderful franchise. You can read more about Udon's Darkstalker Tribute here.

David vs. Goliath

My (late) entry for CGHub's Drawing Jam #8. The topic was entitled David vs. Goliath where we're free to interpret to our heart's content.

I want to apologize for the lack of updates. I've been rather pre-occupied with a few daunting activities (add lack of time management into the mix). As with each new post, I'll be unraveling the pieces that I've been working on in the past weeks.

P.S. I've managed to enter into Udon's Dark Stalker Tribute contest. More details later.

The lovely Carguin made a casual request a couple months back in expressing a genuine interest in seeing a portrait of the incredibly talented singer Enya. I know I am late, but alas here it is!

Round 1, Fight!

I was able to salvage this older concept from my previous (and quite devastating) virus attack; however I did unfortunately lose my WIP file. Thus, riding the coattails of my swirling emotions of despair and anguish, I was pushed to produced a very special animated fight scene. You can view it my painting process.
